Whilst in the area, sightseeing, holidaying or simply enjoying a day out, you cannot, and should not miss the Eden Vale Inn set in the heart of the village of Bolton and five minutes from Appleby. The building is a substantial converted farmhouse retaining much of its original rustic charm and atmosphere whilst at the same time incorporating some present day requirements in the form of the car park, beer garden and restaurant.
Both a popular meeting place for locals as well as a must on the itinerary of the many visitors to the area, we now invite you to share in the experience of this beautiful region in general and specifically in the special appeal of the Eden Vale Inn.
The first thing to be noticed on entering from the car park is the prominent use of local produce in our menu and the serving of locally produced beers. Served in our cosy bar full of character with exposed beams where, during the winter months a log fire burns. Expect to be impressed when browsing through the range of snacks available and be completely bowled over by the a la carte menu and extensive wine list if contemplating a meal in our very attractive restaurant seating 50.
All our food is freshly prepared from the best ingredients available and our menu offers a delightful range of dishes that will suit any and every appetite. We also have a good selection of vegetarian dishes and will do our best to cater to any special dietary requirements, but do please let us know in advance if possible.
We have special menus for those very special occasions such as Mother’s Day and St. Valentine’s Day and, in the bar we stage quiz nights on the first Wednesday of the month. The bar also includes a pool table and fruit machine.
In addition the current diary includes high spots such as our first anniversary celebration Pig Roast for friends old and new and with date to be announced shortly, our first Beer Festival in the beer garden with live music marquee. The beer garden as you might imagine is hugely popular during those warm summer months.
The visitor will, at all times of the year, find a warm welcome at the Eden Vale Inn which currently is open all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and 11am to 3pm and 6pm to 12 midnight during the remainder of the week. Food is served all day Sunday and on other days, between 12 noon and 2.30pm and between 6pm and 9pm.
